Rebecca Herndon, PhD

Director of Engineering

Dr. Rebecca Herndon earned her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2024. Her research focused on cutting-edge, interdisciplinary approaches to the rapid chemical detection of asphalt performance. She has authored six first-author publications introducing innovative technologies and advancing a new performance parameter for the asphalt industry. Through extensive collaborations with scientists and engineers, Dr. Herndon has presented her work at numerous professional conferences and organizations, including the American Chemical Society, American Society of Civil Engineers, Missouri Academy of Science, and National Road Research Alliance. Dr. Herndon brings a unique combination of research innovation and practical engineering expertise.
